"Depression lied to my sister, told her that she was worthless. A burden. Unlovable. Undeserving of life. She was so wrong. Depression lies. I have to tell the truth." When her sister Aletha killed herself on Feb. 20, 2016, after a longstanding battle with depression, Eleni Pinnow wrote a heartbreaking open obituary for her that has now going viral.

Senate President Bukola Saraki has lost his bid for the Code of Conduct Tribunal to quash the corruption charges filed against him by the Federal government. The Chairman of the Tribunal, Justice Danlami Umar, today struck out an application by Saraki's counsel, Kanu Agabi, challenging the jurisdiction of the tribunal to continue with his trial.

Boko Haram members abduct 14 women, 2 girls in Adamawa

No fewer than 14 women and 2 girls were abducted by Boko Haram members in Adamawa state yesterday March 23rd. According to Premium Times, the women and girls were abducted in Sabongari Madagali, in Madagali Local Government of the state. Some of the women were abducted while searching firewood inside a bush while some were abducted at a river while fishing.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has advised UNILAG's record breaking graduate, Ayodele Dada, to be careful with money, women and alcohol. Dogara gave the advise while speaking with Dada who paid a visit to members of the House of Rep chambers yesterday March 23 "We don’t have money to give you, but what we are going to do is not only intended to inspire you, but to encourage other students. Now as a role model, you must be very careful with money, women and alcohol. If you allow them get into you, all these things we are saying today would end up as nothing.” he said.
